Data Retention |
| Location data sent to Granite Apps servers is stored for the purpose of delivering severe weather alerts as new alerts are issued for your area. This data is permanently deleted from our servers as soon as you disable weather alerts in the app. Data stored on your device (such as saved locations and app preferences) is retained until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data in Android Settings. Data collected by third-party services is retained per each service's own privacy policy. |
Data Deletion |
| Location data stored on Granite Apps servers is deleted automatically when you disable weather alerts in the app. On-device data (such as saved locations and preferences) can be deleted by clearing the app's data in Android Settings → Apps → NOAA Weather → Storage → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app. For data held by third-party services, refer to their respective privacy policies. |
